Misora is a non-profit initiative in the making – a cultural art and wellness center focused on bringing Japanese culture to the youth of the greater Los Angeles area and providing a safe creative space for the community. Misora – the founder's name – means beautiful sky in Japanese. Thus, the logo consists of clouds and stars encapsulated in a pill shape, which resembles looking at the sky through a window. The color palette is primarily blue and white with a colorful pastel gradient that feels dreamy and soothing. I also picked rounded fonts and incorporated doodle elements to create a friendly, imaginative and welcoming atmosphere for children and families.
